Return to NYC - a Night at Rizzoli
On Tuesday, December 10th, I’ll be giving a talk about For the Love of Books and hosting a panel about books as holiday gifts at Rizzoli Bookstore in Manhattan. Rizzoli specializes in selling books about design and art, which makes it the perfect place for a conversation inspired by FLB, a book focused on beautiful home libraries.
I’m thrilled that Rizzoli is hosting me and my fellow panelists, Joshua David Stein and Zibby Owens. Joshua is the editor-at-large of Fatherly and a children’s book author. Zibby is the creator and host of the “Moms Don’t Have Time to Read Books” podcast and author event series.
Like any local, independent bookstore, Rizzoli means a lot to its community. I’m from New York City and frequented Rizzoli’s old location on 57th Street when I was a kid, stopping by on my way home from school to browse the aisles of the enormous marble and gold-accented building it inhabited at the time.
Rizzoli has since moved downtown, but it’s still just as magnificent. Come join us at this revered New York institution for a fun night discussing books and the myriad ways they enrich our lives. All of the panelists are going to be sharing their top recommendations for books to give this holiday season!
See you soon,
Thatcher
